The compositions on this album are great: three of them have turned into standard jazz tunes: I could have danced all night On the street where you live Get me to the church on time Another five tunes are wonderful. However, the album was of a production for the stage, and required some acting and stage voices, and these detract a bit from the musicality of the album, which after all is among the great musicals from mid-20th Century.
