Well, I did like the story and I did like the acting. I liked the way it tied in Seasons 1 and 2. I think Holly and Jerome are great characters and steal every scene they are in. However, it is so bloody and violent and gory. I have watched close to 300 of these series over the past 5-6 years and I think this is the bloodiest of them all with whichever one is in second so far behind it that it is not even in sight. I just don't remember 1 and 2 being this bloody and gory. Also, it has so so so so very very very very much strong strong profanity!! I just really don't see the point in having to do that. Be prepared for both of those things. Cut some of the gore and just half of the profanity and I would have given it 4 stars. And oh, Captain Janeway has gone to the darkside to say the least. If you watch it, you will understand what I mean.
