Eve is desperate to protect Roarke. Roarke is desperate to protect Eve. And together, they're determined to find Cobbe before he finds them"-- provided by publisher.

~This one is entertaining!! And it includes some backstories from prior books too! That gave it a 5/5. Then it lost a point for the ending being COMPLETELY unrealistic with law enforcement protocol and another half off because it seemed to drag on too long with the crap end part.
This is poorly, very poorly, written. The middle chapters especially have obviously been ghost written, and by inferior writers. Did Roberts/Robb even read this stuff before putting her name on it ? I had difficulty FFFFF finishing it. Don't waste your time.
I don't understand "Grandma007" comment below!
I have probably read everyone of J.D. Robb's books and this has to be the BEST of all time. So many of the last books were "cookie cutter" plots...not that exciting. This book is great!
Roarke and Dallas capture an Irish for hire killer. Really off the wall plot. Not worth reading this one
Another good read of In Death series. J.D. Robb does a fine job and have read every one of these books, some 2 and 3 times over. Looking forward to the next one. Keep up the good work.
Dallas and her team have their work cut out for them when a killer, claiming to be the true son of Roarke's father, commits a murder in New York and lets Roarke see him. Roarke knows that the killer is coming after him, Eve and anyone that he cares about. This is a page turner from beginning to end and I enjoyed it very much. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
