This book will stay in my mind for a long time. If you're looking for a good, tragic, true love story, this would be it.

If you're looking for a book to put your own life in perspective, this would be a good one. I, for one, now know that I have NO problems of any magnitude. It's nice to be reminded of that. Although blessed with far more financial resources than anyone I know, in the end, that didn't make any difference. What everyone of any level of means will be able to relate to is love and loss.

Amazingly, it's both a somber book and one that astonished me. This couple did more traveling and activities with one spouse diagnosed with pancreatic cancer than I think I do in full health. Against all odds, they really lived and loved every day of their life together. Remarkable.
