"It's been 21 days since the hundred landed on Earth. They're the only humans to set foot on the planet in centuries...or so they thought. Facing an unknown enemy, the hundred struggle to survive the only way they can--together, as secrets are revealed, beliefs are challenged, and relationships are tested"-- Provided by publisher.
I am currently halfway through the third book, and so far, I think this book is the better one of the three. There were some twists and turns to the story that I wasn't quite expecting, so it kept me on my toes more than the first one. It also felt like more ground was covered than the first book. The relationships are ok in this one, but some times I feel like the teenage feelings are exaggerated. It's almost as if the author has only heard of teenagers before but has never met one. All in all, this book was good enough to keep me interested in the series.
This book was amazing, literally couldn't put it down. Though I don't really understand why the tv series is so different from the book. I ship Bellamy and Clarke, forget about Wells and Clarke.
I really love the idea behind this series, I really do. It just is frustrating because the characters are waaaaayyyy to emotional, and Bellamy is too possessive. I think I will read the last book just to finish the series. It started out great but it felt like it was going nowhere. So big disappointment Book 2.

The first one is way better. This one starts off great and then slows down a lot. The show is not the same as the book - I recommend avoiding it.
