The crafts in this books struck me as someone or some company trying to cash in on the steampunk trend. Most of the crafts looks like they were done by someone who thinks victorian + shabby chic = steampunk. Normally, I'm a little bit more forgiving about these things, but if you're looking for streampunk crafts and how they're done, save your time and completely ignore this book. Absolutely terrible (and frankly insulting to the steampunk ethos)!

This book has a variety of patterns and instructions on repurposing "junk" finds into steampunk style projects. The instructions are well written and include ideas of how to find items nedded for the projects. Some of the photos are unhelpful, but overall a good craft book.
