Read out loud to my husband on our road trip up the Alaska highway and to Dawson, where Jack London gained much of his inspiration, this book is a much deserved classic that even made my husband shed a tear or ten.
An awesome book that lets you see what is going on inside a wolf's life. This book has breath taking adventures and a inique plot. I couldn't stop reading this book, and I was sad to see the pages end right before my nose. I defenately recommend this book to anyone who loves animals, especially wolfs. If you are looking for a book to read, this is the one!
This is a great book. I read it 2 times and intend to read it again. It's very touching, and even though it's about an animal it is thrilling. I preferred the style Jack London used in this book, over his style in "Call of the Wild".
Jack London is one of my favourite classical authors. He puts his own experiences during the Northern Gold Rush into his writing and he is able to make the reader experience that cold winter feeling. I would recommend this novel to anyone who is looking for a nice classical read.

great book, really touching and heartfull.
One of his best full lengths book. Check out "To Build a Fire"; great short story, as are all of his shorts.
