Bella
Sexual Content: Lot's of kissing parts when Bella and Edward are in a brand new house and go to the beach at night time for a swim. :)
Coarse Language: It DOES have mild swearing, I guess, but otherwise it's really good, no awesome. :)
Other: it's kinda inappropriate for young readers. There are some bad words in it as well.
This book is continuing the end of Eclipse. It is about Bella and Edward as well as Jacob as they go through married life, as well as the conflicts they go through.
Breaking Dawn is divided into three separate parts. The first part details Bella's marriage and honeymoon with Edward, which they spend on a private island owned by Carlisle who bought it for Esme, called Isle Esme, off the coast of Brazil. Two weeks into their honeymoon, Bella realizes that she is pregnant with a half-vampire, half-human child and that her condition is progressing at an unnaturally accelerated rate. After contacting Carlisle, who confirms her pregnancy, she and Edward immediately return home to Forks, Washington. The fetus continues to develop with unnatural rapidity, and Edward, concerned for Bella's life and convinced that the fetus is going to kill her, urges her to have an abortion. However, Bella feels a connection with her unborn baby and refuses.
To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan, breaking dawn is a very intence book that makes you sit on the edge of your seat. breaking dawn is one of my favourite books out of the twilight saga.
bella on her honeymooon!!! does some funky stuff at night and edward breakes the bed stand :$ bella is covered in bruises and soon find out shes prego! with edwards child. -.- after a violent birth renaessme is born!
Bella decides to go on with the wedding to Edward Cullen, and they go on a honeymoon, and later discover Bella is pregnant. She almost dies when trying to have the half vampire, half human kid and later find out that the Volturi want to kill their daughter(Renesmee), and prepare for a battle.
As I read the Twilight saga, the two things that carried me were the romance and suspense. The romance (whether you're a member of Team Edward or Team Jacob) was palpable throughout. The works that inspired the first three books in the saga - Pride and Prejudice, Romeo and Juliet, and Wuthering Heights - number among the great romantic stories of our time, and Meyer adapted them brilliantly to her story of first love in town of Forks, WA. In terms of suspense, big battles never seemed to be the author's choice. Tense moments were built more out of implication than body count. The final showdown with James in Twilight seemed to me the most graphic battle of the first three books. The scenes with Laurent and the Volturi in New Moon were suspenseful, but no blood was shed in either. Even in Eclipse, the confrontation with Victoria and her minions played out like the chorus describing an off-stage battle in a Greek tragedy (with a bit of head rolling tossed in for good measure). So, tense and dramatic, yes. But violent and filled with depictions of hand-to-hand combat.
The series continues with the marriage between Bella and Edward. There are a lot of unexpected twists and shocking conclusions, the book told in three different parts. By Two different char.
Comment
Add a CommentI love the Twilight Saga and believe this is a perfect and happy ending to the series. Although there is one problem. Bella and Jacob don't end up together which infuriates me to no end. If you honestly wished the two of them to end up together you will be disappointed and tempted to drop the book and immediately return it. The action and suspense just piles in this book and it is a real charmer despite the fact that Bella and Jacob are not together. I was just rather disappointed when Bella and Edward get married. But other than that it's a simply AMAZING book that is the perfect addition to your home or school bookshelf. Even if you shipped Bella and Jacob you will still greatly enjoy this book!
Wow, what an amazing conclusion to a spectacular series!! Twilight is absolutely my favorite series EVER!!! I do want to say this one thing right now though, I could have done with out the whole business about souls. Obviously, vampires don't actually exist, but as far as the story is concerned, I'm going to say that Carlisle's opinion was 100% correct. Anyway. The whole story was incredibly written. The progression of events, characters, and relationships throughout the series was flawless. The ending went beyond simply happy - it was positively exquisite. Bella and Edward's love story was untouchable. Also, I can't think of a more prefect way to place Jacob permanently in Bella's life, and Renessme totally rocks. I love that by the end the Quileutes and the Cullens weren't only allies, they were practically a family. The werewolves are all so awesome (especially Seth!) I have been enchanted with the Cullen family since the first book, and now their family is that much better. I was so glad that Edward and Jacob ended up as good friends! I was entranced with every relationship that Stephenie Meyer created, and all of the characters too. Fairy-tales like this are my favorite because of how absolutely perfect they can be, and the Twilight Saga is the best one yet! I have never read another book like these, and I have a feeling I won't find one for quite a while. A modern classic, no doubt about it.
Breaking Dawn was a perfect end to the series, with twists and turns you'll never see coming. It's hard to even write about the novel without spoiling one thing or another, each chapter is action packed and it's hard to put down because you want to see how it will play out. Will Bella and Edward end up together? Will Bella ever become a vampire? What will happen to Jacob? It's all answered in the last installment, and it's a thrilling plot that you won't want to put down.
Renesmee is the one to protect now. Bella can handle herself.
Yikes. That's all I got. Yikes.
It was an AWESOME book, so dark and full of secrets! 5 star!
This is the absolute best series I have EVER read!
Breaking Dawn is an amazing book (just like all the others in the series ^-^)
l highly recommend it to any romance lovers......
It's all about the vampire world for me. The first part of the book is slow as heck, but it really picks up in the second half. Once Bella becomes a vampire and we get to meet so many more members of the vampire world - its great. The final battle and the addition of Garrett is also amazing - his speech towards the Volturi, is great. Once again I wish I got to know more about THAT side of the world.
This was probably my favorite book so far. Edward and Bella's story together was great!
I started reading these series about 2 months ago, after finally picking up the book that had been sitting on my desk for who knows how long. Though I thoroughly enjoyed all four books, the ending was too abrupt, and too fairy-tale-like for a vampire story. Nonetheless, these books are a light, romantic read, and remain one of my favourite series.
