Very good on the frame-up done from extensive preparation of poor Lee. Didn't like the scenes of practice shooting done in ( looks like) the Arizona desert. Will Geer does the most with his minimalist style of acting. Acting, everyone was good. Did Oliver Stone improve on this early effort? Only by expanding the size of his net. You mystery fans will possibly know what I mean by that. One CAN learn about barbarities such as this by watching films like this. You need to overcome the shackles of your mind, first. Otherwise, might as well watch MSNBC at night to understand the "Trump phenomenon." P.S. script by his greatness, blacklisted Dalton Trumbo. it is misleading for a lobby card to feature the back of JFK's head, with a target superimposed over it. At the time they must have been laboring under the supposition that some anonymous shooter shot JFK in the back of the head, which, if you've been paying attention, is untrue: the so-called 'killshot' came from in front, at a diagonal. I've been asked to give more info on the substance of the previous sentence. It is similarly misleading for the film to scroll the amazing fact that LBJ, being interviewed by Cronkite, said he had become convinced there was a conspiracy, then had those remarks unshown on the tv special. Back then, it was revolutionary to believe there were more than one shooters involved. We've come a long way, baby. Either do the reading yourself, or tie together reader comments into a reasonable facsimile of the truth. The big truth is in here (U.S. libraries), think like a ferret and make love all day long, like JFK, and Mary Cord Meyers.

This film is a bit didactic and convoluted (sometimes I was confused by the Lee Harvey Oswald doppelganger), and the pace is rather slow, but, overall, it is interesting, innovative, and entertaining. I love the way the movie moves between fact and fiction, and the acting is very good. A good movie if you are a history buff or a lover of conspiracy theories. I am the former, not the latter: I believe that Oswald acted alone.

Conspiracy- "...an evil, unlawful, treacherous or surreptitious plan formulated in secret by two or more persons; plot. " This is a fiction film examining the possible forces ( inside & outside the gov't ) seeking to eliminate President John Kennedy from the presidency of the United States..

Conspiracy theory flick.

Dramatized overview of the Kennedy assassination conspiracy theory. An effective blend of scripted drama and contemporary file footage depict the main points of what was at the time (1973) a daring alternative to the Warren Commission's findings.

Robert Ryan's last flick and one that I dragged my father to at the time of it's original theatrical run!

POWERFUL EXCELLENT FILM,,, Questioning the JFK killing & the integrity of "ONE MADMAN" conclusion.

To close the case, the Warren Commission concluded, the KILLING of JFK is the work of one single lunatic madman, Lee Harvey Oswald.

But after watching this film & considering all the killings & attempted killings on the KENNEDY FAMILY, one wonders if there are organized criminal elements CONSPIRING against this POWERFUL CATHOLIC FAMILY.
