The essays include interviews and personal remembrances by artists, retelling of Haida myths, and accounts of the concentrated effort to reclaim fully the Haida style of art. Published in oversized format (10x12.25") and filled with color plates of 140 works of art and b&w historic photographs, the catalogue accompanies an exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery held in 2006.
