I am ready to watch it, but have mixed feelings. Jack Lemmon was SUPERB in his comedies and some dramas, BUT, he was too maudlin in 'DAD', which I didn't enjoy, so I am afraid about starting this, but will give it a chance.

I understand that the book was a best seller, but the movie rendition wasn't great.

Good - Tuesdays With Morrie (1999) [Made for Television] 89 min. One can’t go wrong with Mitch Albom’s adaptation of his book about an older man providing advice and key observations to a younger man before his passing. Insightful, compassionate and well acted - Jack Lemmon as the dying older man is excellent in this role. The television film won Emmys for best film, acting (Jack Lemmon), support acting (Hank Azaria), editing and sound.
