I’m a sucker for romance novels so at first I was enjoying this book, forgiving most of the silly unrealistic aspects that go along with the genre. But the end was so disappointing it made me reconsider how I felt about those aspects. It…

Very very disappointing. The pace is slow, everything is described in too much detail, the characters are bland. I found it very hard to root for the main character. The ending was too abrupt; the type of ending isn’t the problem just how…

Halfway through this book I though "I know how this is going to end. I'll read it, and I'll like it just fine, but I'm sure it's going to end a certain way." Boy, was I wrong. And that made me like it a little more, because it wasn't the…

This was my first time to read Jane Green. By chapter 3 I was wondering where this storyline was going and then at the end BAM! it smacks you. I did not enjoy the ending and I’m reluctant to try this author again.

Another typical romance novel - read 1/2 and moved on

Romances are not my thing. My young daughter insisted that I get it and pestered me to read it. The good news is that I was able to plow through it in just a couple of days. ("Just hold your breath and eat it.") The book is dross. It…

I absolutely adored this book! I even cried on the train (very embarrassing). I would love to just pack up and move to beautiful Connecticut. (I wish).

I read this for the Feb. t-shirt/book promotion on-line. The author kept my interest and surprised me as well.

Another great story by Jane Green! I always look forward to her books because they are among the best in women's fiction. In addition, they are all so different; totally different stories with different endings. One never knows what to…

This book is very disappointing. How is it that Emma went to the hospital in the back of an ambulance then drove home afterwards. As far as her parents coming from England - well I think they must have used a time machine.

What starts out and progresses as a nice love story takes an abrupt turn for the worse. Out of nowhere, the author changes the pace and I was left thinking....did someone else write the ending?

Move over Nicholas Sparks! Falling: a love story will have you laughing and crying and hoping for a happy ending. A rental home by the beach in Westport Connecticut is exactly what 37 yr old. Brit Emma Montague is looking for now that…
